Job Title: Senior Manager – Modern Workplace, Automation & Digital Collaboration Function: Digital Workplace / End User Computing / Cloud & Automation Operations
Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery, transformation, and operations of our Modern Workplace environment. This role will drive a secure, automated, and AI-enabled digital workplace by integrating endpoint management, communication and collaboration platforms, cloud services, DevOps practices, and ITSM frameworks to deliver a seamless and future-ready employee experience. The ideal candidate will combine strategic leadership with strong technical depth to modernize workplace services, enable automation-led operations, and embed CI/CD-driven engineering practices across workplace technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation and steady-state operations of Modern Workplace platforms including Endpoint Management, Identity, Virtual Desktop, Application Delivery, and Digital Experience Monitoring. Own Communication & Collaboration ecosystem (e.g., Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive) ensuring availability, governance, and adoption. Drive automation using Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Function Apps, PowerShell, and API integrations to enable self-healing and zero-touch operations. Introduce AI/ML and analytics-driven approaches to proactively detect issues and enhance digital employee experience via DEX Tools (Nexthink). Establish DevOps and CI/CD practices for workplace engineering, including automated configuration deployment, policy-as-code, and lifecycle management. Align workplace services with ITSM processes to reduce incidents, eliminate recurring problems, and improve operational resilience. Implement secure-by-design configurations aligned to Zero Trust and compliance requirements. Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to deliver scalable, cloud-first workplace solutions. Build and mentor multi-skilled teams across endpoint engineering, collaboration platforms, automation, and DevOps integration. Track performance through KPIs, SLAs, and operational dashboards, driving continuous service improvement and innovation.
Required Experience & Skills 16+ years of experience in Digital Workplace / EUC / Cloud Infrastructure leadership roles. Strong expertise in Microsoft ecosystem (Intune, Entra ID, Windows Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Collaboration Services, Azure Virtual Desktop). Hands-on experience with Azure automation services and enterprise scripting (PowerShell, Windows scripting). Experience implementing DevOps / CI-CD models for infrastructure or workplace engineering (Azure DevOps, Git-based deployment, automation pipelines). Exposure to AI-driven operations, analytics platforms, or digital experience monitoring solutions Nexthink. Proven ability to lead transformation programs and manage large-scale distributed environments. Strong understanding of ITSM practices (Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Improvement).
