Production Equipment Maintenance Technician

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Production Equipment Maintenance Technician (Level B or C) to join the Production Equipment Maintenance Team working in North Charleston, South Carolina on a variable shift!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs maintenance on factory equipment.
- Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment.
- Responds to requests for equipment repair.
- Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories.
- Works under limited supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Must have the ability to work variable shifts (first, second, or third) based on business needs.
- 1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance.
- 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics (preferably electrical, mechanical and pneumatic).
- 1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters.
- 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- 3+ years of experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley.
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley).
