About the RoleEttle designs and manufactures metal-led systems for modern spaces includinghospitality furniture, stainless-steel utility products, modular factory infrastructure, racks,trolleys, workstations, and custom metal assemblies.We are looking for a hands-on engineer who can help convert ideas, sketches, 3D models,and prototypes into fabrication-ready, cost-aware, repeatable products. This role sitsbetween design, production, vendors, and the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
-Study product concepts, sketches, 3D models, and samples for manufacturability.-Check basic feasibility related to material, strength, stability, joinery, welding,bending, assembly, finishing, and hardware.-Prepare, check, or release fabrication drawings, BOMs, cut and bend lists, hardwarelists, and material lists.-Coordinate with laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, polishing, powder coating,assembly, and vendor teams.-Support prototype and first-sample development; identify issues and suggestpractical improvements.-Work with welders, fitters, machine operators, stores, vendors, finishing teams, anddispatch teams to ensure smooth production.-Help solve shop-floor issues related to alignment, welding sequence, distortion,fitment, finishing, and assembly.-Develop simple jigs, fixtures, templates, QC checks, and SOPs for repeat products.-Support costing through material estimates, process understanding, hardware lists,finishing inputs, and vendor comparisons.-Check important dimensions, finish quality, stability, hardware fitment, assembly,packing, and dispatch readiness. Products You Will Work On -SS utility furniture-MS/SS racks and trolleys-Modular workstations-Canteen tables and benches-Drawer and cabinet systems-Hospitality chairs, tables, and sofas-Sheet-metal, tubular, and modular assemblies-Custom metal products and factory infrastructure systems Required Skills -Practical understanding of sheet-metal and tubular fabrication.-Knowledge of MS, SS, aluminium, welding, bending, grinding, polishing, powdercoating, and assembly.-Ability to read, check, and mark fabrication drawings.-Ability to prepare or review BOMs, cut lists, bend lists, and hardware lists.-Basic understanding of tolerances, welding distortion, bend details, fitment, andassembly sequence.-Comfortable working both at the desk and on the shop floor.-Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar software.-Basic Excel / Google Sheets for BOMs, costing, tracking, and documentation. Preferred Background Experience in any of the following will be useful:-Sheet-metal fabrication, tubular fabrication, stainless-steel fabrication, industrial furniture,-commercial kitchen equipment, electrical panel enclosures, machine guarding, lab furniture,racks, trolleys, workbenches, tool-room work, jig/fixture development, machine fabrication,metal furniture, laser cutting, or CNC bending. Qualification & Experience -Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Tool Design, or arelated field.-Min. 2-3 years of hands-on fabrication or product development experience preferred.-Practical ability and fabrication understanding will be valued more than degree alone.
