Joining our team means becoming part of a creative environment that values detail, material exploration, and the thoughtful evolution of tradition.Role OverviewHouse of Edwa is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Product Design Intern to support the development of luxury craft-based products that merge traditional Marodi and Repouss techniques with contemporary design aesthetics.Duration: 36 MonthsLocation: Jaipur (On-site)Compensation: Paid InternshipKey Responsibilities Assist in conceptualizing and developing product designs that blend heritage craftsmanship with modern luxury aesthetics. Create sketches, visualizations, mood boards, and design presentations to communicate ideas effectively. Support material exploration, form development, and detailing of product concepts. Conduct basic user, trend, and market research to inform design decisions. Prepare design documentation, specifications, and presentation materials. Collaborate with designers during prototype development and review sessions. Participate in design critiques and contribute creative ideas throughout the product development process. Assist in refining products from initial concept through final execution.Qualifications Strong foundation in Product Design and Design Thinking. Understanding of User Research and UX principles. Proficiency in sketching, rendering, visual storytelling, and presentation design. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Lifestyle Accessory Design, or a related field. Interest in craftsmanship, materials, luxury products, and traditional making processes. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Blender, KeyShot, or similar design software. Comfort working with physical prototypes and hands-on product development. Strong attention to detail, curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a creative team.What You'll Gain Direct exposure to luxury product design and heritage craft innovation.
