Product Design Engineer

- In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Generate innovative ideas, develop concepts, and design new products as well as improvements to existing products
- Perform engineering calculations and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) stack-up analysis
- Apply core engineering principles to solve design and development challenges
- Provide CAD support using Solid Edge or SolidWorks for new product development and sustaining activities
- Drive cost optimization and product quality improvement initiatives
- Apply design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) principles in product development
- Execute engineering change requests and engineering change notes efficiently and accurately
- Support the development, testing, and evaluation of functional prototypes
- Create and manage costed bills of materials (BOM) and use PLM tools such as Teamcenter
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project timelines and customer expectations
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and global stakeholders

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in product design or related field
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools (preferably Solid Edge or SolidWorks)
- Knowledge of casting, plastic, or forging design considerations
- Understanding of GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5 preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively with global teams
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and solve complex engineering challenges
