Hello All, Greetings from ThoughtFocus, We are hiring a high-impact Valuation Analyst Private Markets with expertise in private equity, private credit, and complex financial modeling to drive critical investment decisions. Key ResponsibilitiesValuation Modeling

• Maintain and update valuation models for private credit instruments, including direct loans, syndicated loans, distressed debt, and structured credit products.
• Develop and manage valuation models for private equity investments across various stages, capital structures, and industries.
• Evaluate hybrid securities such as convertible debt, preferred equity, warrants, and mezzanine instruments.
• Apply appropriate valuation methodologies, including DCF, market comparables, precedent transactions, yield analysis, and option pricing models.
• Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling to assess valuation assumptions and investment performance.

Valuation Governance & Controls

• Ensure valuation models are accurate, well-documented, and compliant with internal policies and procedures.
• Support quarterly and annual valuation cycles, including preparation of valuation reports and documentation.
• Validate assumptions, market inputs, and outputs through independent review and quality control processes.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for internal, external, and regulatory reviews.
• Stay updated on industry trends, valuation best practices, and regulatory changes.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with investment, portfolio management, fund accounting teams, auditors, and external valuation specialists.
• Respond to auditor, investor, and regulatory queries related to valuations.
• Prepare valuation reports, presentations, and analysis for internal committees and stakeholders.
