Autodesk is seeking a Principal Architect – Cloud Integration & Platform Engineering to join the Business Systems and Applications Engineering organization within the Finance domain. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for Autodesk’s enterprise integration ecosystem, shaping the strategy, architecture, and evolution of platforms that connect critical business systems and enable scalable business operations.

As a senior technical leader, you will partner with engineering, platform, security, and business teams to drive modernization initiatives, establish engineering standards, and influence technology decisions across Finance and other enterprise domains.

Principal Responsibilities

- Define and drive the long-term architecture strategy for Autodesk's enterprise integration platform, enabling secure, scalable, resilient, and cloud-native integrations across Finance and business-critical systems.

- Lead modernization initiatives that transform legacy and middleware-based integrations into AWS-native, event-driven, and serverless architectures.

- Establish enterprise architecture standards, integration patterns, governance frameworks, and engineering guardrails that improve platform consistency, scalability, and developer productivity.

- Partner with engineering, platform, security, and business stakeholders to align technology strategy with business outcomes and operational excellence objectives.

- Drive platform reliability, observability, resiliency, and disaster recovery capabilities by defining standards for monitoring, tracing, incident management, and operational readiness.

- Define and evolve platform engineering capabilities, Infrastructure as Code standards, CI/CD frameworks, and reusable engineering platforms that improve developer productivity and operational excellence.

- Lead architecture reviews, technical strategy discussions, and cross-functional design decisions across multiple engineering teams.

- Mentor senior engineers fostering engineering excellence and helping scale technical leadership across the organization.
