Ring, Blink, Key & Sidewalk (RBKS) is reinventing how we build. We are unifying all individual contributor roles under a single title — Builder — because the best products come from people who think like founders, own problems end-to-end, and use AI as a first principle, not an afterthought.
We are seeking a Principal Builder - Product Manager - Tech to join the Agent Platform Org within RBKS. This team is building the future of data and AI agent platforms that power product development for millions of smart home devices and services worldwide. In this role, you will combine deep technical product management expertise with an AI-native mindset to drive the long-term vision, roadmap, and adoption of agent-based platforms across the RBKS portfolio.
The right candidate has a strong technical background, demonstrated experience delivering software products with measurable business outcomes, and genuine passion for AI/ML technologies. You don't just manage products — you establish the unified product strategy, prioritize investments that maximize customer impact, build with AI, and hold yourself and the org to the highest delivery bar. You operate across what were previously separate functional boundaries: driving architecture, writing specs, prototyping with AI agents, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and shipping products that delight customers.
Key job responsibilities
Define and own the end-to-end product vision and multi-year strategy for data and AI agent platforms to increase internal efficiency spanning the Ring, Blink, Key, and Sidewalk product development ecosystems
Translate deep customer and market insights into bold, differentiated product bets — identifying where AI agent capabilities unlock new customer value at scale
Drive architectural decisions and technical tradeoffs for large-scale AI agent platforms, partnering closely with engineering to ensure product goals are met with sound system design
Define and prioritize multi-quarter product roadmaps, breaking ambiguous problem spaces into clear product requirements, success metrics, and measurable business outcomes
Influence and align senior leadership, cross-org stakeholders, and partner teams on product direction — building shared conviction for investments across organizational boundaries
Embed AI-native practices into product development: leverage AI agents and automation as core building materials in how you research, prototype, validate, and ship
Establish product excellence mechanisms — frameworks for experimentation, customer feedback loops, and data-driven decision-making that raise the bar across multiple teams

Develop the Builders around you — raise the technical, product, and AI fluency bar through mentoring, pairing, and example
A day in the life You lead product strategy across engineering, data science, business, and UX teams to define and deliver data and AI agent platforms at scale. You might start the morning reviewing customer usage data to validate a hypothesis about platform adoption, then lead a cross-org roadmap alignment session where you build conviction for a new product investment. After lunch you're writing a product requirements document and prototyping with AI tools to validate your approach before engineering commits capacity. You close the day mentoring a junior Builder on how to frame a customer problem, then presenting product outcomes and strategic recommendations to VP-level leadership. Your customers are the teams and products across RBKS that depend on the agent platform to deliver intelligent experiences to millions of users.
