Pricing Manager, OTR Strategy, Now LM OTR Strategy
Amazon
Amazon Now is India's fastest-growing quick commerce platform — and the pricing mechanisms that power our last-mile network are built by this team. If you want to own national-scale OTR pricing strategy while acting as the voice of Delivery Partners across a high-velocity network, this role is for you.
As a Program Manager on the Amazon Now OTR Strategy team, you will design and deploy rider rate cards and incentive structures that shape the economics of millions of deliveries across India. You will ensure Delivery Partners have competitive, reliable earnings — making Amazon the number one destination for delivery work in every city we operate in. Our Delivery Partners are the face of Amazon in front of our customers, and this role exists to make sure they are engaged, fairly compensated, and set up to thrive.
Key job responsibilities OTR Rate Card Design & Deployment: Own end-to-end design and deployment of OTR rate cards and Delivery Partner incentive structures at national scale. Pricing is the lever that moves everything else.
Voice of Delivery Partners: Track earnings competitiveness, identify reliability gaps, and drive interventions that make Amazon the number one destination for delivery work. Our Delivery Partners are the face of Amazon.
Benchmarking: Lead competitor rate card benchmarking at hyper-local granularity and translate field intelligence into actionable pricing recommendations.
Incentive Programs: Design surge pricing and productivity-linked incentive programs that keep Delivery Partners engaged across peak and off-peak cycles.
Pricing Analytics: Build frameworks in SQL/R and Excel to monitor rate card performance, track cost-per-delivery trends, and measure impact of pricing interventions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with LM Operations, Forecasting, Finance, Product and Capacity Planning teams to ensure pricing decisions are smart, operationally grounded and financially sustainable.
Senior Leadership Reporting: Present data-backed pricing recommendations to senior leadership, distilling complex trade-offs into clear decision points.
A day in the life Your day typically starts with a quick review of overnight delivery cost metrics and flagging any rate card anomalies across clusters. Mid-morning you might be on a call with a 3P partner discussing IC benchmarking data, or pulling a SQL query to size the earnings gap in a specific city. Afternoons are often cross-functional — aligning with Operations on a surge pricing intervention, walking Finance through CPD impact, or providing pricing inputs for a new product launch. You will spend time in the field periodically, talking to Delivery Partners directly to understand what the data does not always show.
