PLM Aras Developer

As an ARAS Developer, you will be actively involved in various phases of the application development lifecycle, with a strong focus on designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the ARAS platform. You will work closely with architects and business stakeholders to understand requirements, contribute to solution design, and translate them into scalable technical implementations. You will be responsible for developing, configuring, customizing, testing, and deploying ARAS-based applications, ensuring high performance and reliability. Your role includes creating workflows, forms, integrations, and extensions while adhering to best practices and coding standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional and distributed Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, development, and delivery activities. You will also support DevOps and automation practices, including version control, CI/CD processes, and deployment pipelines. Additionally, you will assist in troubleshooting issues, improving system performance, and ensuring quality through rigorous testing. You will contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and internal capability building while supporting client requirements and enhancements. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and senior developers to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives and user needs.
- Around 2 to 5 years of experience (or more) in the IT industry
- Strong software engineering expertise, including object‑oriented analysis and design, and end‑to‑end software development lifecycle (requirements analysis, architecture & design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support) using Aras Innovator and .NET
- Extensive hands on experience in Aras Innovator implementations, with a strong focus on PLM solutions
- Proven expertise in .NET, C#, related frameworks, and JavaScript
- Good working knowledge of AML (Adaptive Markup Language) and IOM API development
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and writing complex SQL queries
- Hands on experience with IIS administration, including installation, configuration, and debugging issues in .NET application environments
- Exposure to cloud adoption and migration initiatives on platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Experience working with DevOps practices and toolchains
- Knowledge of CATIA will be considered an added advantage
