Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based at the Child Development Centre (CDC) in Kompally, Secunderbd. The Physiotherapist will assess infants and children with developmental delays, neuromuscular conditions, and movement disorders using standardized assessment tools and clinical observation. The role involves designing and delivering individualized treatment plans, conducting therapeutic exercise sessions, and using play-based and functional activities to support motor development. The Physiotherapist will document assessments, progress notes, and outcome measures accurately, and regularly review treatment goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include educating and coaching parents and caregivers, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, and pediatricians), participating in case conferences, and contributing to screening, community outreach, or parent-training programs as needed. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments including sensory, oral-motor, motor, proprioceptive, vestibular, and related developmental evaluations. Assess primitive reflexes and design appropriate intervention plans. Develop and implement individualized therapy programs. Provide strong parent counseling and guidance to achieve better therapeutic outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking. Qualifications
- Recognized bachelors or masters degree in Physiotherapy (pediatric specialization or experience in pediatrics preferred).
- Valid registration or license to practice physiotherapy as per local regulatory requirements.
- Strong skills in pediatric assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention for developmental and neuromuscular conditions.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a child development center.
- Ability to use play-based, task-specific, and family-centered approaches to promote gross motor skills, balance, coordination, posture, and functional mobility.
