Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune Division for a PHE and FF (Public Health Engineering and Fire Fighting) Engineer. The role involves preparing and reviewing plumbing and fire protection designs, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations, coordinating with architects and project teams, and resolving technical issues during project implementation. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to deliver quality results within project timelines. • Should have sound knowledge on Design & Drafting of Plumbing and Fire Protection system as per NBC and Indian relevant Codes. • Study the requirement for the project and collect details/inputs from the client. • Preparation of Design documents & Technical Data sheet • Preparation of BOQ & DBR for the tender projects • Preparation of design calculation for water supply pipes, drainage system, storm water design, WTP, STP and Fire Protection system. • Attending meeting with Client, Architect and consultant for design requirements • Coordination for project activities and drawing specifications with the clients to ensure drawings and documents are as per the specifications. • Lead the Design team and Draughtsman to prepare drawings and design documents. • Review and checking of Design drawings and documents. • Provide technical assistance to concerned departments, liaison with client, consultant, site visits (whenever required) to support the project teamShould be proficient in communication with the related project team Qualifications • Technical skills in PHE and FF systems design, including proficiency in relevant design tools and software • Knowledge of applicable plumbing and fire safety codes and standards • Strong analytical skills for reviewing and interpreting drawings and specifications • Project coordination and teamwork skills for effective communication with multidisciplinary teams • Problem-solving capabilities to address technical challenges in design and implementation • Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Diploma Mechanical/Civil Engineering field • Previous experience in PHE and FF systems is preferred for at least 2 to 5 Years Earn certifications in these skills Learn VLSI Learn AI in Data Science Learn Advanced SOLIDWORKS Learn Ansys Learn CATIA Learn AutoCAD 3D Learn LabVIEW Learn PLC Programming Learn Siemens NX Learn Creo Parametric Learn AutoCAD Learn STAAD Pro Learn Revit + 6 more skills Who can apply Only those candidates can apply who: 1. have minimum 2 years of experience Salary Probation: Duration: Salary during probation: After probation: Annual CTC: Competitive salary Number of openings 1 Editor’s note Information above is Internshala's interpretation and paraphrasing of what we found on the shared link.
