Odia Language Transcription Expert

We are seeking native Odia speakers from Odisha for a short-term transcription and proofreading project lasting approximately 1 month. This opportunity allows candidates to contribute to the development of Odia language resources while gaining hands-on experience in transcription, proofreading, language editing, and quality assurance.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include

1. Reviewing and proofreading Odia transcripts to identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.

1. Ensuring transcripts accurately reflect the original audio by correcting missing words, misinterpreted phrases, and inconsistencies as per project guidelines.

1. Editing transcripts to maintain clarity, accuracy, consistency, and overall quality standards.

1. Meeting daily proofreading and editing targets assigned by the project team.

1. Maintaining a regular work commitment of 7-8 hours per day.

1. Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals and adhere to deadlines.

Note: Full-time candidates will be preferred. However, part-time applicants who can dedicate a minimum of 5 hours per day are also encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates available for full-time engagement.
