Job Summary : Immediate Joiners (1-3 Years Experience) The Network & Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for devices, network infrastructure & security, IT systems & Security systems such as CCTV & Biometrics. This role ensures reliable operation of desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and network devices and services while delivering prompt and effective support to users. Key ResponsibilitiesDesktop & End-User Support Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux)) Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and application issues Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights (Active Directory / Azure AD) Provide on-site and remote support to users. Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation Regular maintenance and services of all these equipments. Network Support Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections. Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and security issues. Install, configure, Monitor and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and access points. Assist with network upgrades, expansions, and cabling. Ensure network availability and reliability. Systems & Security Support server administration (Windows Server/Linux) Perform system updates, patches, and backups Assist in implementing IT security policies and best practices as per OWASP, DPDP rules and policies. Monitor antivirus, endpoint protection, and firewall rules Install, configure and maintain CCTV, Biometric, Access control devices and other such physical security devices. Documentation & Process Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and support guides Log and track incidents and service requests using ticketing systems Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when requiredRequired Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11) and macOS/Linux support Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs Experience with Active Directory, Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Working knowledge with network devices (Cisco, HP, Ubiquiti, etc.) Understanding of cybersecurity principles Soft Skills Good communication and service skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time management and multitasking skills Education & Experience Bachelors degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 13 years of experience in desktop support, IT support, or networking rolesCertifications (Preferred but not mandatory) CompTIA A+, Network+ Microsoft (MCP, MCSA) Cisco CCNA
