Mobile App Security Intern

About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include

Conduct runtime threat detection tests on Android and iOS mobile applications to identify security issues.

Utilize open-source security tools and frameworks (beyond typical UI automation like Selenium) to scan and assess app vulnerabilities.

Perform device-level testing on rooted (Android) and jailbroken (iOS) devices to uncover hidden risks and reduce false positives.

Analyze test results and propose strategic improvements, compiling clear reports that inform business decisions.

Execute feature testing for internal tools/platforms by clearly understanding functionalities and expected outcomes.

Test the company's existing and upcoming websites (web apps and platforms) across browsers and devices including end-to-end user journeys.

Collaborate with development teams to test our internal platforms/products after fully understanding their functionality and objectives.

Leverage programming fundamentals to create scripts or tools, and employ AI-based tools to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy
