The Middle Office – Fund Accounting, Senior Associate is responsible for leading data onboarding, validation, and quality assurance activities across client portfolios. The role drives high-quality data delivery, SLA adherence, and client satisfaction while acting as a key interface between clients, internal teams, and platform operations.
This role operates with higher ownership, ensuring data integrity, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement across Real Estate, Private Credit, and other alternative investment datasets.
1. Data Onboarding & Ownership
Own end-to-end onboarding of funds, portfolios, and asset-level data
Review and approve mapped datasets before platform upload
Ensure accurate and timely delivery aligned to SLAs and client expectations
Provide oversight and guidance to Associates on onboarding activities
2. Data Quality Assurance (QA / QC)
Perform advanced QA/QC checks on datasets prior to final delivery
Establish validation controls and ensure adherence across workflows
Review complex data scenarios and resolve high-impact discrepancies
Maintain audit readiness through structured validation and documentation
3. Client Interaction & Stakeholder Management
Act as a primary point of contact for client data queries and clarifications

Participate in client calls to provide data updates, explain issues, and drive resolution
Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders
Translate client requirements into actionable data operations workflows
4. SLA Tracking & Reporting
Monitor and report on SLA adherence across onboarding and BAU activities
Prepare and present periodic SLA and data quality reports to stakeholders
Track key operational metrics including turnaround time, accuracy, and issue closure
Proactively identify risks and drive corrective actions
5. Issue Management & Escalation
Oversee issue tracking, prioritization, and resolution across datasets
Handle complex or escalated data issues with ownership
Ensure timely closure and communication with stakeholders
Drive root cause analysis and preventive actions
6. Reporting & Data Delivery
Review and validate reporting datasets used for fund accounting and dashboards
Ensure data readiness for downstream consumption (Power BI / client reporting)
Support high-visibility deliverables and client reporting requirements
7. Process Governance & Improvement
Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, data governance, and audit standards
Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and efficiency gains
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across data workflows
Contribute to training, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team
Technical Skills
Strong Excel expertise (advanced validation, data analysis)
Solid understanding of data models, mapping, and templates
Experience with data platforms such as CRPM, DMS, or similar (preferred)
Exposure to reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
Domain Knowledge
Good understanding of fund accounting and investment lifecycle data
Experience with Real Estate / Private Credit datasets preferred
Familiarity with SOI, valuation reports, lease and loan-level data

Experience & Qualifications
3–6 years of experience in data operations, fund accounting, or middle office roles
Experience in handling client interactions and leading delivery workflows preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
