Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer to lead and execute enterprise-scale migration projects, including Exchange Online and OneDrive. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and migration tools like Quest ODM, with a focus on reliability, error handling, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute Exchange Online mailbox migrations from on-premises or tenant-to-tenant environments
- Plan and implement OneDrive for Business migrations, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime
- Design and develop advanced PowerShell automation scripts with robust error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms
- Leverage Microsoft Graph API (MgGraph) for automation, reporting, and bulk operations
- Use Quest on Demand Migration (ODM) for tenant-to-tenant migration scenarios
- Perform pre-migration assessments, dependency analysis, and post-migration validation
- Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize performance for large-scale data transfers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration strategy, timelines, and risk mitigation
- Maintain detailed documentation for scripts, processes, and migration activities
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies during migration
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Exchange Online migration (cutover, staged, hybrid, tenant-to-tenant)
