We are seeking an experienced and technically hands-on Mechanical Lead Engineer to spearhead the design and development of complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will own the mechanical product architecture, guide a talented engineering team, and drive electro-mechanical integration, focusing heavily on machine design, vacuum/fluidic systems, and intricate wire harness routing design.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Design & Architecture: Lead the full lifecycle (concept to manufacturing) of semiconductor processing modules and high-precision automation equipment.

• Electro-Mechanical Integration: Architect 3D designs that successfully house sensitive electronics, collaborating directly with electrical and controls teams.

• Wire Harness Routing: Develop and route complex 3D wire harnesses and cable management systems to ensure no clash or interference in tight, high-density equipment chassis.

• Design Validation: Conduct structural, thermal, and kinematic calculations. Perform FEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFMEA.

• Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical design reviews, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality components and Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, manufacturing, and global teams to optimize design for manufacturing (DFM) and assembly standards.
