About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include

1. Design sheet metal and fabricated enclosures for industrial camera systems, optimizing for compactness (sub-80mm profiles), thermal management, and IP65+ ingress protection

1. Create detailed manufacturing drawings (DXF, STEP) and work directly with fabrication vendors

1. Develop mounting systems for varied installation contexts including floor-mounted pit installations, wall/pillar mounts, and adjustable positioning mechanisms

1. Prototype rapidly, test in real conditions, and iterate based on field feedback

Collaborate with the embedded systems team on cable routing, connector placement, and thermal considerations for NVIDIA Jetson-based compute units

1. Source components, manage vendor relationships, and optimize designs for cost-effective low-volume manufacturing
