The Opportunity
Are you ready to architect the data foundation that drives digital excellence and unlocks actionable insights for our global procurement operations? As our Master Data Manager based in Mumbai, India, you will be a core member of the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE). In this critical role, you will define, govern, and optimize the data assets that power the digital evolution of DOP.
- Reporting Line: The position directly reports to the Procurement Operations Lead and is part of the wider Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Wider team and stakeholders: Works closely with the colleagues in Analytics and Performance Insights, data consumers, and multifunctional teams globally to ensure data is fit for purpose.
- Role Type: A senior individual contributor role focused on data architecture, governance, and master data management. May involve project-based direct or indirect supervision.
- Impact: You assure quality and trust in our data, establishing the governance framework for the organization. Specifically, you are accountable for:
- Data Strategy & Governance: Defining data assets within the DOP domain, creating standard guidelines, and establishing internal policies and data controls to monitor adherence.
- Quality Assurance: Maintaining data quality using customer feedback, developing reporting metrics, evaluating issues, and coordinating regular corrections.
