Renesas Electronics is looking for a Production Control Support Specialist to provide critical on-site support to wafer fabrication manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory control, and production readiness. This role partners cross-functionally with manufacturing, planning, and supply chain teams to maintain operational continuity and drive process improvements within a dynamic fab environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide real-time, on-site support for daily wafer fabrication manufacturing activities to ensure uninterrupted production flow
Manage and maintain starting materials inventory, including tracking, stocking, and ensuring availability to meet production schedules
Support production planning activities by coordinating material readiness and assisting with schedule execution
Interface with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution
Create and manage purchase requisitions in support of production and inventory needs
Maintain and update manufacturing systems, databases, and tracking tools to ensure data accuracy and visibility
Support fab hygiene and cleanliness standards in compliance with cleanroom protocols
Identify, recommend, and help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize material flow
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality

Qualifications
Associate degree (2-year) or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
Self-motivated and detail-oriented team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Access (data tracking, reporting, and analysis)
Experience with manufacturing systems (e.g., ERP/MRP, MES) is preferred
Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, or high-tech production environments is a plus
Familiarity with inventory control, production support, or supply chain coordination is preferred
Additional Information
Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.
This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.
