Your Role:
As a Manufacturing Operator 4 at MilliporeSigma, you will produce, package, and purify chemical compounds to meet customer requirements while serving as a senior technical resource for the production and packaging teams. You will independently troubleshoot complex production issues, lead process improvements, support root cause investigations and CAPA activities, and model a strong safety, quality, and inclusive culture. In this TOPAZ role you will write/review SOPs, assist with equipment commissioning, assist with new plant operations, and any additional activities required to bring the new plant online. This role will work with TOPAZ project engineers, TOPAZ supervisor, and TOPAZ Senior associate production scientists to prepare for and commission the new plant. Post TOPAZ project completion, you will support the Production 1 group in daily production and supporting day-to-day operations.
In this role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- High-Hazard Manufacturing & Packaging: Produce, purify, and package chemical compounds following MPRs/SOPs, including high-hazard operations using glove boxes, ampoules, robotics, and pyrophoric filling.
- Perform in-process analytical testing, sample preparation, and rigorous Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure compliance.
- Oversee material staging, chemical charging, labeling, neutralization, and hazardous waste disposal.
