The Impact of a Manager, Software Engineering at Coupa: As an Engineering Manager for the Coupa Risk team, you will lead a development team responsible for our Coupa Risk application. You will play a crucial role in evolving our risk-scoring capabilities, helping your team build performant, scalable software that empowers customers to make confident compliance and risk decisions. You will balance technical leadership with team development, collaborating across product and engineering teams to integrate AI-driven risk insights and drive continuous improvement within the Coupa engineering community.

What You’ll Do :

• Team Leadership & Growth: Lead, coach, and empower a cross-functional development team through problem-solving sessions. Act as a servant leader, ensuring the team understands the business context behind our risk-domain due diligence initiatives.

• Strategic Execution: Drive the development of "Coupa Risk" and lead the evolution of our risk-scoring capabilities to deliver more precise, actionable insights for our customers.

• Process & Innovation: Partner with peer engineering managers and architects to drive continuous process improvements. Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies (e.g., AI-assisted log querying, multi-skill orchestrators) that enhance triage and production reliability.
