Job Description: Operations Manager & Media PlannerThis role is a unique hybrid of strategic foresight and technical execution. We are looking for a precision-oriented professional who can bridge the gap between high-level media planning and the "nuts and bolts" of programmatic execution.The ideal candidate doesn't just pull levers in a DSP; they understand the why behind the strategy and can translate a media plan into a high-performing reality. ### Role Overview
- Position: Operations Manager / Media Planner
- Focus: End-to-end Programmatic execution, Media Strategy, and Performance Analytics.
- Goal: To design data-driven media plans and ensure flawless technical execution across all digital platforms.
- Experience Level: 2years - 5years in media planning/programmatic advertising.
### Key Responsibilities1. Media Planning & Strategy
- Plan Architecture: Develop comprehensive media plans, defining clear deliverables, flight dates, and budget allocations.
- Audience Design: Build sophisticated audience segments and ad cohorts based on client briefs and historical data.
- Inventory Mapping: Identify the best "pools" and supply sources to meet specific KPI requirements.2. Ad Operations & Campaign Management
- DSP/SSP Orchestration: Handle end-to-end setup within Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) and Supply Side Platforms (SSPs).
- PMP Management: Negotiate and execute Private Marketplace (PMP) deals and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) setups.
- Technical Implementation: Oversee pixel placement, tracking parameters, and creative QA.3. Optimization & Analytics
- Daily Maintenance: Maintain daily campaign trackers to ensure pacing and performance are on target.
- Active Optimization: Perform daily bid adjustments, site-list scrubbing, and frequency capping tweaks to maximize ROI.
- Reporting & Insights: Generate "End of Campaign" (EOC) reports that go beyond the numbers to provide actionable creative and performance analysis.
### Required Skills & ExperienceCategoryRequirementsExperience25+ years in Programmatic Ad Ops or Media Planning.PlatformsProficiency in major DSPs (e.g., DV360, TTD, Amazon DSP) and SSPs.AnalyticalHigh proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs are a must).TechnicalUnderstanding of ad tags (VASP/VPAID), DCM, and attribution modeling.Soft SkillsExtreme attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple "moving parts" simultaneously. ### What Success Looks Like"A successful candidate will ensure that no budget is left unspent, no KPI is left unoptimized, and every media plan is backed by a logical, data-driven audience cohort."
