The organization is focused on expanding its high-value, innovative offerings and aims to be the leading end-to-end solutions provider with best-in-class infrastructure management for diverse industries.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Linux System Administrator role based in SAC ISRO, Ahmedabad. The Linux System Administrator will install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Responsibilities include monitoring system health, applying patches and updates, managing user accounts and permissions, and automating routine tasks where possible. The role involves diagnosing and resolving system, network, and application issues, providing technical support to internal teams, and coordinating with vendors or senior engineers when needed. The administrator will also assist in implementing backup and recovery strategies, maintaining documentation, and supporting security policies and compliance requirements.Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong System Administration and Linux System Administration skills, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux-based servers.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and document system and application issues in a timely manner.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Network Security, including basic firewall concepts, access controls, and best practices for securing Linux environments.
• Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), monitoring tools, and backup solutions is highly beneficial.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing) and virtualization or cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science BE, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, Linux+, or similar are preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work on-site in Jammu, manage priorities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required Technical SkillsLinux Administration
