As a Legal Research Intern at Spotnxt, you will work closely with the founders to help build the legal and compliance foundation for an AI SaaS startup expanding globally.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
Legal research: Conduct legal research on US, Indian, and international laws applicable to AI and SaaS businesses.
Data privacy research: Research data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy frameworks.
AI & IP research: Analyze AI governance, intellectual property, copyright, trademark, and software licensing regulations.
Competitive legal analysis: Study legal policies of leading SaaS and AI companies and prepare comparison reports.
Platform policy research: Research platform policies, including Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and other technology platforms.
Legal Documentation: Assist in preparing and maintaining legal documentation such as Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, NDAs, and customer agreements.
Compliance management: Build and maintain legal compliance checklists for product launches and customer onboarding.
Trademark & IP research: Conduct trademark and intellectual property research for new products and features.
AI legal research: Research the legal implications of AI-generated content, advertising technologies, and marketing automation.
Regulatory monitoring: Monitor changes in technology, AI, cybersecurity, and digital business regulations, and summarize their business impact.
Risk assessment: Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to identify potential legal and compliance risks.

Requirements:
Law students or recent graduates with an interest in Technology Law, Intellectual Property, Cyber Law, Data Privacy, or Corporate Law.
Strong legal research and analytical skills.
Excellent written communication and documentation abilities.
Curious about startups, AI, SaaS, and emerging technologies.
Comfortable reading international legal resources and preparing structured research reports.
