The Lead Software Engineer I is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Data and integration platforms, while also providing day-to-day technical and delivery leadership within an Agile framework.

This position reports to the Staff Engineer and is part of the Global IT Data& AI team , located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role .

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Drive Hands-on Engineering & Solution Implementation

- Design, build, and operate Azure-based solutions with strong focus on security, scalability, reliability, and cost awareness.

- Develop and optimize SQL-based data solutions, including queries, transformations, and performance tuning for operational and analytical workloads.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to enable reliable, repeatable deployments across environments.

- Lead Data Engineering & Orchestration by Design and implement data pipelines using:

- Dagster for orchestration, dependency management, and observability

- Apache NiFi for ingestion, routing, transformation, and system integrations
