The Lead Production Team Leader (Lead PTL) is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role oversees frontline production teams, drives operational excellence, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and partners with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. The Lead PTL is accountable for production performance, people leadership, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance while fostering a culture of Lean and continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage frontline production teams to achieve daily production, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
- Foster a disciplined shop floor culture and maintain a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.
- Build positive employee relations and engage team members through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, EHS, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve operational performance.
- Monitor and report key manufacturing metrics including productivity, labor utilization, throughput, inventory accuracy, work order completion, quality, and customer complaints.
- Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, visual management, waste elimination, standard work, and continuous improvement projects.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with established quality standards and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Lead cross-functional improvement projects focused on productivity, process optimization, quality enhancement, and cost reduction.
- Support capacity planning, manpower planning, and resource allocation to meet production requirements.
- Develop and execute workforce training plans to enhance team capability and operational effectiveness.
