Lead Engineer - Tractor Engines

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Lead the HVAC system development for tractor application.
• Attending cross functional team & demonstrating the air conditioning activities.
• Smart handling of problem solving techniques.
• Customer interaction to solve air conditioning issues.
• Supplier visits and getting on the critical parts development activities & New technology development along with suppliers.
• Make different Conceptual options to finalise 3D layout
• Heat load calculations, Cooling load estimation, heating load estimation for tractor cabin and HVAC system parts selection / Preparation of SOR for HVAC.
• Having knowledge about refrigeration (R134a/R12345yf) properties.
• Packaging & integrating Engine interface / Cabin interface systems into a vehicle
• Detailed design of Engine interface systems (3D modelling and drawing preparation) like A/C compressor packaging, HVAC packaging, air filtration design and known the off highway legislation requirement for A.C Cabin.

-Should have exposure on manufacturing process like rubber and plastic moulding and sheet metal fabrication.

• Should have worked in New Product Development Projects
• Good Knowledge in GD & T, Tolerance stack up
• Co-ordinations and discussion with other COEs

Experience

5 to 7 Years

Industry Preferred

Tractor/Automotive Industry

Qualifications

BE or MTech - Mechanical / Automotive
