Plan, develop, and execute validation tests for High Voltage (HV) battery packs and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
Define test strategies, test cases, validation plans, and acceptance criteria based on product requirements.
Validate BMS functions like Cell voltage,Current, State of Charge (SOC), State of Health (SOH), Cell balancing, Thermal management, Fault diagnostics and protection strategies
Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and vehicle-level validation activities.
Analyze battery and BMS test data, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Support battery pack integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting during development and vehicle testing.
Ensure compliance with automotive and battery safety standards such as ISO 26262, UN R100, AIS 038/156, IEC 62660, and relevant OEM requirements.
Collaborate with design, controls, software, system engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
Prepare technical reports, validation documentation, and test result presentations.
Battery Pack Validation Plan (DVP&R).
Test specifications and test case documentation.
Execution of battery pack and BMS validation tests as per project milestones.

Functional Competencies:
Very good knowledge of System Testing using ETAS, Vector (CANalyzer, CANape) tools Proficient in MATLAB-M-Script and C, CAPL programming Good knowledge of State flow, Simulink, Target link (d-Space), d-Space Simulator Very good experience with ECU Flash Tool (Bosch, Delphi,Continental Tool).
