Lead Controllership/Lead Accounting

To be responsible for preparation of journal entries, reconciliation and maintenance of general ledger account, preparation of specified accounting records and analysis in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP).

Key Responsibilities

1. To Assist With Identifying And Administering Internal Control In The Organization As Well As Updating Sop'S.
2. To Be Responsible For Preparation Of Journal Entries, Account Reconciliation And Other Analytical Reports To Ensure Accuracy, Timeliness And Completeness.
3. To Maintain And Analyze General Ledger Accounts To Ensure Accuracy Of Financial Information Such As Balance Sheet Accounts, Expense Analysis, Daily/Monthly Cash Balance Reporting And Monthly Bank Reconciliations.
4. To Provide Supporting Documentation And Information To Various Stakeholder Like Management, Auditors, Tax Departments Etc.

with 8–12 years of progressively responsible experience to lead our Record-to-Report function. This role requires deep expertise in managing month-end and year-end close processes, performing balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting etc. In addition to technical skills, you will be responsible for mentoring the junior team members and will engage in extensive client and stakeholder interactions, ensuring exceptional service delivery. A natural penchant for driving continuous improvement through automation, and process streamlining.

End-to-End R2R Process Delivery:

R2R process for multiple entities —including preparation and review of journal entries—to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant monthly and annual financial close. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are promptly investigated and resolved. Having complete control of the open items being current Drive intercompany accounting efforts to ensure accurate elimination and consolidation across legal entities.
