Conduct strategic needs analyses to identify skill gaps and develop training plans that address these gaps effectively.
Develop comprehensive training modules, presentations, and learning materials based on current procedural terminology (CPT), ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
Ensure training materials and processes reflect the latest updates in medical coding standards, payer requirements, and compliance regulations.
- Training Delivery & Facilitation:
Conduct training sessions (classroom, virtual, or blended) for new hires, existing staff, and auditors on surgery coding concepts, audit standards, and best practices.
Provide hands-on coding exercises, case studies, and assessments to reinforce learning and evaluate participant understanding.
Offer ongoing support, mentoring, and guidance to coding professionals to enhance accuracy and productivity.
- Curriculum Development & Evaluation:
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Quality Auditors, and Compliance Teams to ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, performance metrics, and feedback surveys.
Update and refine training materials periodically to reflect process improvements, audit trends, and regulatory changes.
