Lead Assistant Manager- Tax Accountant

Essential Functions

• Work with Tax Accountant Senior and Manager, Tax with schedules and calculations in support of the federal tax returns.

• Prepare state income and franchise tax returns for both insurance and non-insurance companies.

• Prepare premium tax returns and provisions for insurance companies Assist with calculations for monthly and quarterly IFRS and statutory tax provisions. Under the guidance of Management, prepare and/or review journal entries and work papers.

• Prepare and/or review account reconciliation/analysis to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Provide explanation of significant variances.

• Develop and maintain procedures manual or all current job functions for training and backup purposes.

• Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors, facilities and colleagues

• Ensure that the assigned targets in accordance with the SLA and Internal standards are met.
