The Role: As a Junior Videographer, you will support the end-to-end video production processfrom brainstorming and scripting to shooting and editing. You will capture the aesthetic, warmth, and functionality of products across various formats, including high-energy social media reels, YouTube home tours, product explainers, and internal brand content. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role perfect for a budding filmmaker who loves interior design, understands digital video trends, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced retail/e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Shooting: Assist in setting up, lighting, and shooting high-quality video content in our studios, experience centers (stores), and on-location home shoots.
- Video Editing: Edit raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube long-form, and website product pages.
- Social-First Focus: Stay ahead of social media trends, viral audio, and transition styles to create native-feeling content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok/Shorts.
- Pre-Production Support: Participate in creative brainstorming sessions, help draft storyboards/shot lists, and coordinate equipment and studio setups.
- Post-Production Polish: Handle basic color grading, sound design, audio leveling, and integration of graphics, text overlays, and subtitles.
- Asset Management: Maintain, organize, and back up raw and finalized video assets in our digital library, and ensure camera gear is kept in top condition.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 13 years of professional experience in videography and video editing (agency, startup, e-commerce, or lifestyle brand experience is a huge plus).
- Proficiency with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, basic lighting setups (three-point lighting, natural light manipulation), and audio gear.
- Strong hands-on skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience with After Effects, CapCut (for quick mobile edits), and Photoshop is a major advantage.
