Junior Electrical Engineer

This is a contract based role.

Key responsibilities

1. Perform electrical installation of machines, panels, motors, drives, and instrumentation as per drawings and standards.

1. Install, terminate, test, and commission LT panels, MCCs, control panels, and field devices.

1. Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms, local regulations, and company standards.

1. Monitor PLC-based control systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Schneider / Delta / Mitsubishi - as applicable).

1. Perform basic PLC troubleshooting I/O issues, communication faults, interlocks, alarms, and field wiring checks.

1. Assist in PLC program updates, backups, and documentation under guidance of automation engineers.

1. Monitor HMI/SCADA systems and respond to system alarms and process deviations.

1. Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.

1. Diagnose electrical faults in motors, VFDs, sensors, actuators, solenoid valves, and control circuits.

1. Minimise downtime through quick root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

1. Maintain uptime of critical production and R&D equipment.

Work Details:

Industrial / plant / R&D laboratory environment

May involve shift work, emergency support, and field troubleshooting
