The Junior Architect will support senior team members in developing design concepts, preparing drawings, and producing presentations across various project stages. Day-to-day work includes drafting and detailing architectural plans, sections, and elevations; creating 3D models and visualizations; and assisting with material research and specification. The role involves coordinating with consultants, organizing project documentation, and supporting site visits for measurements, inspections, and progress reviews. The Junior Architect will also help prepare submissions, reports, and client presentations while adhering to project timelines, quality standards, and local regulations.Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and detailing.
- Ability to support Project Management activities such as organizing drawings, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with consultants.
- Familiarity with Integration of design elements across structural, services, and interior components to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
- Basic understanding of Software Development or digital workflows as they relate to architectural tools, automation, or interoperability is an advantage.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and eligibility to work as an architect trainee/intern as per local regulations.
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office).
- Strong visual communication, drafting, and documentation skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment, manage time effectively, and take feedback constructively.
- Interest in sustainable design practices, local building codes, and emerging trends in architecture is preferred.
