As a member of the Isolation Valves Oracle IT organization, the Oracle Order Management Business Analyst provides functional and technical support and expertise on Oracle Quote, Order and Pricing module for our Oracle single instance sites worldwide. This person, as well as their manager, will become our subject matter expert on Order Management business processes, including Quotation, Order management and Pricing and their integration points with other process areas, with a first focus on APAC region.
The role will provide support to sites that are in production, manage new enhancements and ensure common processes and best practices across sites, review global instance changes. The role will also have a particular focus on new implementations and support for the APAC region, but will also support other regions where required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide application support to the Oracle Order management module (ASO, ONT, Pricing), as well as Pricing integration with Vendavo software
Continuous review of Quote/Order processes and configuration to increase stability, speed and reduce support calls
Work with group support teams on issue resolutions: Emerson Application Support Group, DBA, Community of practices…
Develop strong relationship with business process owners and in particular the ISV Pricing team
Work with Sales Leadership team to develop enhancements to support business process changes and improvements, organizational changes
Facilitate discussions with end-users to translate business requirements into functional specifications
When changes are required, manage the Request for Change process (RFC, FRS, TRS)
Develop and maintain global system and process documentations

Participate in Emerson related community of practices meetings and global projects
Support B2B initiative implementations such as MyEmerson (online store) or any EDI (BTAB, CIH…)
Develop global training material, provide training to key users (train the trainer) together with Business Process Managers
Ensure compliance (i.e., trade and export, Sarbanes Oxley) in all aspects of implementation specifically related to their functional area
Drive creation of testing scripts for our Quality Control & Quality Service team in their functional area, support regression testing where not covered yet by script.
Provide guidance on reporting, help developing new reports where required using existing reporting tools (Noetix, ADW… )
Actively participate to new site implementations: provide expertise in functional area, best practices and global processes, assist during testing phases, review any change requests
Work with other functional BAs where required to review change implications and E2E processes
Recognize and report risks and weaknesses of processes and escalation if necessary.
Actively participate on ISV journey to Oracle Cloud (Fusion)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of experience or Master Degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in business information systems or related areas
Order management background with a detailed understanding of quote and pricing processes
Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting Order management processes / applications in an Oracle environment
Must have a solid business understanding of Quote, Order and pricing
Must have a solid understanding of the interactions among Oracle modules within an ERP environment.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of SQL experience,

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in Oracle code development (PL/SQL) is a plus.
Experience with Noetix reporting tools is a plus
Experience with Vendavo Pricing software is a plus
