Role Description The Investment Analyst role at MyProBuddy is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Investment Analyst will evaluate early-stage and growth-stage ventures, perform detailed financial and business analysis, and support the creation of investment memos and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models, assessing investor replies and spearheading founder success, assessing governance and compliance readiness, and assisting in portfolio monitoring and reporting. The role involves collaborating closely with founders, incubation partners, and internal teams to refine investment cases and support deal structuring, due diligence, and co-investment processes. The Investment Analyst will also contribute to improving internal frameworks and tools for venture evaluation and capital allocation. Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and Investments, with the ability to assess business models, capital structures, and risk-return profiles.
• Advanced Analytical Skills and proficiency in Financial Modeling for scenario analysis, valuation, and forecasting.
• Understanding of Portfolio Management principles, including performance tracking, risk management, and diversification.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to varied stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, comfort working with data in spreadsheets and analytics tools, and familiarity with startup or venture investing environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting, exercise sound judgment, and uphold high standards of ethics, governance, and compliance.
