Inventory Planning & Replenishment Analyst

Job summary: The team is responsible for developing accurate demand plans using shipment history, market trends, and POS data, while coordinating with sales and operations to forecast at the SKU level. They manage inventory by identifying shortages, executing transfers, and ensuring timely order placement. The team conducts in-depth analysis of purchasing, sales, and inventory functions, solves operational issues, and maintains clear communication with business units through regular meetings and reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Use current and historical shipment information, market trends and POS data to develop demand plans and execute inventory buys.2. With internal sales and operations team to develop specific forecasts down to the SKU-level, and anticipate changes which can impact planning.3. Identify stock shortages and initiate transfers between warehouses to maintain the minimum required inventory levels for the item.4. Solve problems as they arise, conductad-hoc analysis as needed, and provide recommendations for current operational procedures.5. Understand business dynamics and deliver periodical, in-depth analysis of Purchase, Sales and Inventory management functions under various parameters.6. Create and input project inventory into the system, and coordinate with the product team to ensure timely order placement and follow-up Perform additional duties as required and or requested.7. s. Desired Candidate Profi le:

1. Analyst team in MSI is driven by a purpose to solve the Business problems to help the Organization to reach new heights2. Bachelors degree in operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance or a related field3. 2-3 years of experience in forecasting/planning analyst role4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills5. A clear understanding of measurements which could include sales, Inventory weeks on hand, weeks of supply, etc. and how to positively impact these metrics6. Excellent and timely cross functional communications across teams7. Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities8. Excellent in Microsoft excel9. Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills10. Knowledge of Business, Process and Pro-activeness11. Flexible to Work from Office12. Open to short term overseas business travel13. Candidates with a valid Us visa is a
