Intern – System Diagnostic Tools

Job Description Summary

We are looking for an Engineering Intern to support the development of system diagnostic tools for a mobile X-ray system. This internship is ideal for candidates interested in diagnostic tool development, troubleshooting, software-enabled service solutions, and cross-functional product engineering.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Support the development of system diagnostic tools for a mobile X-ray system.

- Contribute to the design of troubleshooting workflows for field engineers.

- Work with cross-functional teams to understand system behavior, fault conditions, logs, and service needs.

- Support prototype development, testing, and validation of diagnostic tool concepts.

- Assist in analyzing issues across software, hardware, and firmware interfaces.

- Help document diagnostic logic, troubleshooting steps, and technical findings.

- Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and implementation clarifications.

Qualifications/Requirements

- B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related technical discipline .

- 70% or 7 CGPA aggregate in the current degree.

- No active backlogs at the time of application.

- Willing to work in GE HealthCare premises during the internship.

- Willing to work on any projects as assigned based on fitment and business need.

- Strong interest in diagnostic tools, troubleshooting, product development, and engineering problem-solving.

- Academic or project experience in software development, embedded systems, testing, debugging, or technical troubleshooting is preferred.
