The culture emphasizes innovation, ownership, execution, and customer success. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Installation Engineer role based in Ludhiana. The Installation Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and testing security and automation systems, including CCTV, access control, networking equipment, and related devices at customer locations. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing electrical wiring and terminations, mounting and aligning equipment, and ensuring systems are integrated with the kavachX platform. The role involves conducting site surveys, coordinating with project managers and customers, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and documenting installation work. The Installation Engineer will also provide basic end-user training, troubleshoot on-site issues, and ensure that all work adheres to safety, quality, and compliance standards. Qualifications
- Strong equipment installation skills, including experience installing CCTV, access control, networking hardware, and automation devices.
- Foundational knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering concepts relevant to low-voltage security and automation systems.
- Hands-on experience in electrical wiring, cable routing, termination, and panel integration.
- Maintenance skills for diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance on installed systems.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals, and to use basic test and measurement tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety practices on-site.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel locally for on-site installations and support, and flexibility to work extended hours when required.
