About the job
Key Responsivitites:
- Make cold calls to potential customers, reach out via email, LinkedIn, and other channels and identify decision-makers in target companies
- Generate qualified leads for AWS/cloud services, build and maintain a pipeline of prospects and researches companies and identify potential opportunities
- Understand customer needs, pain points, and current infrastructure, ask relevant questions to assess fit for AWS solutions & filter and pass only high-quality leads to the sales/technical team
- Clearly explain AWS services and benefits, deliver short and effective sales pitches and handle basic objections confidently
- Book meetings/demos for senior sales team or solution architects and ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads
- Update all activities in CRM (calls, emails, follow-ups) and track lead status and maintain accurate records
- Perform timely follow-ups with prospects and nurture leads who are not immediately ready
- Stay updated on AWS offerings, cloud trends and competitors (Azure, GCP)
- Work closely with sales team, technical/solution teams and provide feedback from customer conversations
