Information Security Engineer II

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, manage, and monitor Cloudflare services including CDN, DNS, WAF, DDoS protection, rate limiting, and Zero Trust

- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python/Bash/Powershell) to streamline operations and reduce manual effort

- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

- Troubleshoot issues related to web traffic, performance, security rules, and access controls

- Support incident response, security reviews, and audits as required

- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks

- Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate scripting and automation development

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3–4 years of experience in Cloud Security, DevOps, automation

- Strong Python/Bash scripting skills (core requirement)

- Practical experience with Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines

- Good understanding of WAF, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS, and web application fundamentals

- Ability to debug issues, analyze logs, and work methodically through problems

- Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Good to Have

- Experience with Azure and/or GCP

- Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot
