About this opportunity:
In this role you will be responsible for shaping the architecture of our documentation systems, making sure technicalinformation is structured clearly, logically, and in a way that is easy to access for different user groups such asdevelopers, engineers, and customers. You will collaborate closely with technical writers, developers, productmanagers, and UX designers to ensure the documentation setup meets real user needs.
We also see this role as central in configuring, managing, and maintaining the tools from within, with a strong focuson understanding information flow and driving improvements. You will do:
Information architecture design: Design clear, user-friendly documentation structures and metadata foreasy navigation and reuse. Content strategy and management: Define and maintain modular, standardized content to ensureconsistency and adaptability. Collaboration with technical and product teams: Work with SMEs and product teams to ensure contentstructure reflects product logic and user needs. Search and retrieval optimization: Improve findability through metadata, tagging, and well-organizedcontent architecture. Tools and technologies: Oversee and enhance content management tools and systems to streamlinedocumentation workflows. Ensure effective management and optimization of metadata, version control, andinformation architecture within content management systems. Support continuous improvement of tools,templates, and processes. User research and usability testing: Use feedback and testing to ensure documentation structures meetuser expectations. Compliance and standardization: Ensure documentation meets quality, regulatory, and version controlrequirements.
You will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Architecture, Technical Communication, Information Science, ComputerScience, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in information architecture, technical documentation, or content management forcomplex technical products.
- Strong understanding of information architecture principles, including taxonomy, metadata, content modeling,and usability.
