Informatica BDM Support
Provide L2/L3 production support for Informatica BDM (Big Data Management) / DEI workflows Monitor and manage BDM jobs, sessions, and workflows Troubleshoot failures in Spark-based mappings and big data pipelines Analyze logs and resolve issues related to data processing and job execution Perform job restarts, reruns, and recovery activities
Unix / Linux Support
Work extensively on Unix/Linux systems for monitoring and troubleshooting Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and batch processing Perform file handling, process monitoring, and system checks Debug job failures using Unix commands and logs
SQL & Database Support
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and debugging Work with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or PostgreSQL Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and issue investigation Support data correction and backfill activities
Big Data & Hadoop Ecosystem
Support integration with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, YARN) Monitor cluster-level job execution and performance Troubleshoot connectivity and resource issues in big data platforms
Incident & Problem Management
Handle incident tickets, alerts, and production issues within SLA Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution Ensure adherence to ITIL processes
Operational Excellence
Maintain job schedules using AutoSys / Control-M / Cron Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and documentation Participate in on-call/shift support model (24/7 support)
Preferred Skills
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with AWS EMR / Databricks Basic knowledge of Python or Spark scripting Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter or IICS Understanding of data quality and governance concepts
