Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry. The role focuses on driving operational excellence through process optimization, productivity improvement, and efficient manufacturing practices.
The ideal candidate will have a BE/BTech in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field, along with strong experience in lean manufacturing, line balancing, and EMS production environments such as SMT, PCBA, and box build assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing processes and drive cycle time reduction, productivity improvement, and cost optimization.
- Experience with productivity / Line data tracking, UPH Line capacity , OEE, Yield calculation ,Analyse labor efficiency, bottlenecks, and throughput losses and reporting tools
- Support NPI by defining CT, HC, and ramp‑up models
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce CT and optimize manpower,
- Ensure layouts comply with EHS, ergonomic, and statutory requirements ,Familiarity with OSHA, EHS and ergonomic standards in manufacturing
