Careflick is building human-centered technology for the future of care. We are looking for a highly creative Industrial Design / Product Design Intern who can think beyond screens and help shape physical product experiences from early concept to prototype.This role is ideal for someone who loves imagining new product forms, exploring materials, sketching bold ideas, building 3D concepts, and translating abstract user needs into tangible design directions. What youll work onYou will work closely with the founding and product team on early-stage product concepts, including:
- Exploring form factors, ergonomics, materials, and user interaction patterns
- Creating concept sketches, moodboards, and design directions
- Developing 3D models, renders, and early prototypes
- Thinking deeply about comfort, usability, aesthetics, and emotional connection
- Translating user insights into physical product ideas
- Supporting design research around human-centered and assistive product experiences
- Helping us move from idea to concept validation through quick iterations
What were looking forWere looking for someone who is not just technically skilled, but genuinely imaginative.You should have:
- A strong creative mindset and ability to think from first principles
- A portfolio showcasing industrial design, product design, hardware concepts, wearables, consumer products, medical/assistive devices, or experimental physical products
- Strong CAD / CAM skills or proficiency in modern 3D design tools
- Experience with tools such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, Blender, KeyShot, Alias, Grasshopper, Onshape, or similar
- Ability to create sketches, renders, 3D models, and visual design explorations
- Good understanding of ergonomics, materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping
- Comfort working in an ambiguous, early-stage product environment
- Strong taste, curiosity, and attention to detail
