Company Description The IELTS AVENUE is dedicated to helping learners achieve their goals of studying or immigrating abroad by building strong English language and communication skills. The organization offers a range of educational services, including IELTS training, spoken English, grammar classes, personality development, group discussions, presentations, soft skills, and business communication. It focuses on providing supportive, student-centered guidance, particularly for learners who are repeating exams or have limited preparation time. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site IELTS Trainer role based in Dehradun. The IELTS Trainer will plan and deliver high-quality IELTS preparation classes across all four modules (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) in alignment with exam standards. Responsibilities include creating structured lesson plans, preparing practice tests and learning materials, monitoring learner progress, and providing individualized feedback to help learners improve their scores. The trainer will conduct mock tests, evaluate performance, and guide learners on exam strategies, time management, and language accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional abilities in English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language, with a learner-centered and inclusive approach.
- Proven expertise with the IELTS exam format and evaluation criteria, including experience preparing learners for all modules.
- Competence in Teaching and Lesson Planning, including designing structured, engaging, and level-appropriate lessons and practice materials.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with clear pronunciation and the ability to explain concepts simply.
- Minimum of a bachelors degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; TEFL/TESOL or similar certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience as an IELTS or English language trainer is preferred, especially in classroom-based or coaching center environments.
- Strong classroom management skills, patience, and the ability to support learners with varying proficiency levels and goals.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (presentations, online resources, test materials) to enhance classroom learning.
