About this opportunity:
Join us as an IT Infrastructure Engineer at Ericsson and contribute to the flawless delivery of our top-tier IT services. As part of the IT Infrastructure Operations India team, you'll ensure to provide support on Incidents, Problem resolutions and technical operations/deployments on remote access solution technologies & Products such as Firewalls hosting Remote access module/VPNs, Citrix Load Balancers and Desktop virtualization, Network connectivity using Routers, Switches, Cloud infra, etc.
What you will do:
- Design solutions keeping in view of the Functional as well as the security requirements thereby meeting compliance as per Security Policy.
- Arranging scheduled upgrades and updating equipment to the latest firmware releases along with monitoring to maximize Network/Device performance.
- Investigating faults in the network by handling Incidents (P1 through P4) and provide the resolution within the SLAs
- Close collaboration with Product vendors like Pulse Secure, Palo Alto, Citrix. etc. to discuss on ongoing issues, RMAs, new releases, etc. and take required actions.
- Reporting network status to the key stakeholders
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with a minimum of supervision
- Able to maintain a positive and cooperative attitude in stressful situations
The skills you bring:
- Education - Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom)
- Experience - Minimum 10 years
- Strong Technical Skills on L2 and L3 Remote access solutions.
- Hands on experience in Design, Deployment/Implementation and troubleshooting of Global Protect, Palo Alto, Citrix NetScaler, and Xen App Desktop, Cloudflare access (ZTNA), WARP, Zero Trust Technologies.
- Good understanding on Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure and Citrix Cloud.
- Worked in Agile/DevOps ways of working and understand ISMS Controls Implementation
- Understanding on bringing the Automation ideas in the ways of working.
- Understand ITIL incident, problem, and change management practices, working to defined service level agreements
- Flexible in approach to work content and responsibilities, along with out of hours and On Call Support during weekends and holidays.
