About the job

Job Summary:We are seeking passionate and experienced English educators to join our growing team as IB English Tutors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IB English content, test-taking strategies, and pedagogy. This is a remote, full-time position focused on preparing students for IB English, as well as developing their overall reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, engaging IB English lessons through Zoom.
• Diagnose individual student strengths and weaknesses and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Review instructional materials, lesson plans, practice questions, and mock tests.
• Provide detailed feedback to students to support continuous improvement.
• Monitor student progress and communicate performance updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with academic mentors and curriculum designers to ensure consistent and effective delivery of content.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (or higher) in English, Education, Literature, or a related field.
• Prior experience teaching IB English or related standardized exams
• Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and rhetorical analysis.
• Strong instructional and presentation skills, particularly in an online teaching environment.
• Proven ability to engage and motivate students across different academic backgrounds.
• Familiarity with online educational tools and platforms (Zoom).
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to student success and academic mentorship.Preferred Skills:
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience in IB curricula.
• Content development experience for standardized tests.
• Knowledge of data-driven instruction and student assessment methodologies.

Job Type: Full-Time | RemoteWorking Hours :

• 6:00 AM 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM 10:00 PMOR
• Weekdays: 6:00 AM 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM 10:00 PM
• Weekends: 6:00 AM 3:00 PMOR
• 3:00 PM 12:00 AM?

Weekly Off: Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday
